Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled PreConstructionEstimator to join our team! The PreConstructionEstimator will be responsible for estimating costs for construction projects prior to the start of construction. This will include reviewing plans and specifications, quantifying materials and labor, and analyzing pricing and subcontractor bids. The PreConstructionEstimator will work collaboratively with other project managers to ensure that the construction project is estimated accurately

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimate
  • Conduct site visits and gather all necessary information to accurately estimate project costs
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, material, and equipment costs
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
  • Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and cost estimates to clients
  • Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders to present and discuss cost estimates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
